On September 25, 2008, 51���� sent the CSEA applications to Chapters and members for distribution. The safety and health of the nation’s construction work force is a top priority of 51���� and its members. 51���� recognizes and rewards safety excellence through two annual awards programs: The Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA) and the National 51���� Safety Awards (NASA). Participants of the safety programs must be nominated by 51���� Chapters and are evaluated on essential elements and elements of excellence. program recognizes companies that have developed and implemented premier safety and loss prevention programs. The program also showcases companies that have achieved continuous improvements and maintenance of their safety and health management systems. All 51���� Chapters are encouraged to submit nominations for each division and occupational category. 51���� Chapters must submit their nominations to 51����'s Safety and Health Services by December 3, 2008. Please contact your local for the application form (a list of Chapters is available on 51����’s Web site at www.agc.org). All 51���� Chapters play a key role during the CSEA process. 51���� members are encouraged to submit a completed application to their local Chapter. Members must be nominated by their home Chapter to be eligible. Companies who operate in multiple states must submit their application to their “home” chapter.
