On September 16, 2008, Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX.) Chairwoman of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, and Ranking Member Rep.  John Boozman (R-AR.) sent a letter to all four hundred and thirty five members of the U.S. House of Representatives urging their colleagues and staff to view the Liquid Assets documentary when it is broadcast in Washington, DC in October.   Johnson and Boozman also urged their colleagues to contact PBS stations in their home districts to ensure that their constituents have the opportunity to view this important documentary on our national water infrastructure. 51·çÁ÷ played a critical role in facilitating this letter to Congress and we hope that this will help increase awareness about Liquid Assets on Capitol Hill.
